I'd been using a gas-powered snow blower for years with the pull start and the gasoline oil changes. With this, I charged up the 5 amp battery and was ready to go. I gave a quick spray of WD-40 to the chute and the blades to keep the heavy wet snow today from sticking. This is a 100-volt 5-amp battery. And this snow blower from Snow Joe can hold two of them. The carry handle for the battery doubles as a light flashlight. And there are also two USB ports that you can use. So, even when there is no snow around, you can make use of this powerful battery.

How quiet. If we were using a more traditional gas-powered snowblower, you'd never be able to hear me. I went over this once this is like a three-day snowfall. I went over this once yesterday and with more snow overnight, we're going over it again today.

You can get, I think, larger ones too, and I didn't want to buy more batteries because I don't know how well this is going to work.

I will say this as well this is heavy snow, it's a very very wet snow the bottom is probably an inch, almost slush, because it was raining for a good, oh boy, eight hours before it started snowing, maybe six-eight hours. So, this is gonna be heavy on this, it is also a good five or six inches deep. So, we got really wet snow, heavy slushy bottom. It's gonna put this thing really to the test. Let's find out.

Okay, that works a lot better than I thought, way better than I thought I was gonna do it. So, the cool thing is this has electric chute control. Right has the light on the side, if you use that, and I guess that's yep, there's a switch here for the light on the side, and then to start it you have to have this button up you push a button on the side.

It is extremely heavy snow really wet and I'm really impressed by this thing. That's the end of the 4 amp hour battery. It's a little over half of what I got to do, but this stuff is heavy it did clog the chute probably three or four times. It just because it snowballed up, but that down towards the end driveway it is it is really wet. So, I'll have to charge up and keep going.

I'm very impressed by this. The one downside obviously, in my opinion, is that fuse in the battery. Now there are third-party operators that make batteries for this unit, and maybe that'll be a little bit different. Obviously, if you don't have a huge allotment of this coverage that you have to plow it, this snow blower is going to work great."
