What is the best electric frying pan/skillet? While there is a lot of kitchen appliances and tools on the market, most housewives tend to choose the ones that make the cooking process more convenient. That is why electric skillets are becoming increasingly in demand. Electric frying pans (skillets) can be of three types, which are differentiated by the material they are made from.

The first type — and the most popular one — are aluminum skillets. They heat and cool fast, and are the best choices for those who frequently make fried eggs. However, this type of electric skillet does not retain heat well, and this is where stainless steel comes first. Apart from that, the food fried on the stainless steel pan does not stick to the surface and is cooked more evenly. The third type — ceramic skillets — are considered to be more eco-friendly, safer and easier to clean.

When choosing your electric skillet, make sure that it comes with heat-resistant handles, offers temperature control options, and can be cleaned in a dishwasher. A good example is Presto electric skillet, which is made of cast aluminum and comes with a tempered glass cover. The appliance includes foldable handles, which allow you to detach the pan from the heat control to clean the former in a dishwasher. With this electric skillet, you can roasts, stew or bake any meal quicker and with more comfort than using a traditional pan. You can trust a heavy cast aluminum base from this manufacturer. The company, founded in 1905 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and originally called Northwestern Steel and Iron Works, now National Presto Industries, Inс., produces home-use cooking appliances.

You may like a Jumbo electric ceramic coated frying pan. This spacious skillet with ceramic nonstick surface inside and out, instead of Teflon-type coating, may be used as a buffet server.

For those who do not like a modern design with transparent lids, there is a small 12-inch electric skillet. It comes with a white opaque lid and looks like a retro cast iron appliance.

Testing & Customers Reviews

Here are the reviews from YouTube bloggers who tested the electric frying pans and have found them effective and worth buying.

George and Jane: "We've still got a gas oven and we're still using around gas, but we've sing good reviews relaxing relating to new Geepas Electric Skillet, so we purchase one (it was about 20 to 25 pound including postage). And it's really like an electric frying pan, but this one measures 300 millimeters by 300 which is a large enough for to do a meal for four people. We think it's really good value used it once.

It's got a thermostatic control plug, which plugs in. And you can set the settings it doesn't have temperature on it just have numbers (we were using setting number three). And it's got a call knob top so when you open it up it's best to wear gloves but the knob is actually cool when you save the units of the post the only thing you have to assemble its deport (they not together) on the glass-top. Just wash it down for the first time use. Under 25 pound it's excellent.

Compared to a normal grill or oven it keeps the food more moist it doesn't dry. It out it's the cross between a frying pan and oven a steamer and a pressure cooker. Really excellent, highly recommend. It was very easy to clean."

UKCC: "I look at this Multi Cooker Vonshef. This is the 30 centimeter version. You also be willing 40 to 70 version which is a suit for for probably around about six people.

So, see what we've got in the box. Okay, we have the lid and just glass. Power adapter, also has the temperature control. This use will suck it scheduled top of the lid there. And then we actually have the pan itself, does a little instruction manual. Here safety instructions.

So, it's not too heavy or metal pipe from these side handles, yet both underneath you can see here Vonshef made in China. So, it's all something the pan itself is actually fixed to the heating element, which obviously makes it a little bit harder to clean, if you can't take this pan off and put it into sink or even to the dishwasher. So, bear that in mind.

So, I'm using the Multi Cooker for that day I think it's quite a good product you come back for about 20 quid online, which is a pretty reasonable price really. And it's a useful extra bit of kit to have in the kitchen."
