What we like about this hot tool is that it can curl large chunks of hair at once, giving you awesome beachy waves. Hair wavers come in two types, which operate similarly but have different designs and are used for different hairstyles. The first one, a deep waver, creates more pronounced voluminous curls and is ideal for beach waves.

More versatile hair wavers like the Bed Head A-Wave-We-Go Adjustable Hair Waver for Multiple Waves with tourmaline ceramic barrels allow for creating multiple styles. You can change temperature settings and adjust the barrel depending on your hair type and how deep you want your waves to be.

Or you may try the Bed Head Wave Artist Ceramic Deep Hair Waver for Beachy Waves with ultra-deep plates and multiple heat settings.

The CHI Spin N Curl Hair Curler features an automatic rotating barrel, an LCD screen, and heat settings ranging from 80°C to 210°C. The ceramic surface is infused with diamond oil and effectively protects your hair from heat damage.

You can adjust time and curl direction to suit your hair type. This curling wand heats up quickly, in just 15 seconds, while an auto shut-off function will turn the unit off after an hour of continuous use. A long swivel cord allows you to easily maneuver the unit.

You may like an automatic CONAIR Smooth & Wave, Hair Waver that creates soft curls and loose waves. It gently draws hair into the ceramic chamber where it is softly held and heated. The curls are pretty, well defined and look natural.

The other type, a triple barrel waver, is made with 3 barrels. This tool will give you even mermaid curls and is more suitable for long hair. A great example is the Conair Triple Barrel Curl Styling Waver with 30 temperature settings, high-quality ceramic coating, and anti-scalding heads.

Testing & Customers Reviews

ByStephieNics: "This hair tool curls your hair for you. It's gonna be perfect for beginners who don't have the curling technique down. But also it's gonna be amazing for pros. I curl my hair all the time and still I find CHI Spin N Curl so helpful so useful. It looks kind of interesting. The part that heats up and actually going to curl your hair is tucked inside. The outside is not going to get hot so you're not going to burn yourself. There's nothing hot on your head or your fingers.

There's a little display screen. It's gonna tell you the temperature and then also the heat up time and you can change these depending on what type of hair you have. There are two buttons at the top: an arrow pointing that way and an arrow pointing this way and that's to determine which way your hair is curling. What I like to do is I like to get my finger ready on the correct turning button so you're not struggling when it's behind your head.

It's like the easiest way to do hair. You just lay your hair right over that center part and then you're going to press the button and hold it down until all the hair is curled in and then you let go. And now you just wait it out until it beeps. You can't hold the button for too long. All it's going to do is just keep spinning. It's not going to pull the hair out of your head. There's no tension. I didn't feel pulling or anything. It's super gentle. Anyone can use this thing. It doesn't matter if you have never done your hair before. I am just so impressed with the look that this curler gives. Beautiful soft curls all around."

Beauty101byLisa: "Bed Head Wave Artist is better than any triple barrel curling iron I have ever tried because this gives such a nice deep crimp to your hair. It's quick. It's way quicker than curling your hair with a curling iron or flattening. If you take the time to do this it's gonna stay like that until you wash it out. So it's totally worth it and it ends up in the long run definitely saving time. And the next day if there's any areas that I want to touch up a little bit I just take the crimper and touch them up.

What I like to do is kind of fluff it with my fingers a little bit and it gives so much beautiful volume. It almost looks like I went to bed with braids in my hair but the ends are uniform like the rest of the hair. And I love this thing. so much. I literally don't have to touch my hair until I wash it again and I wake up and this is what it looks like. I may have to take the hair waver and just touch up a couple of little places maybe but usually not. It just stays perfect."

Ashley Roark: "Bed Head A-Wave-We-Go really does give you that beachy look and it's pretty effortless. You don't have to know how to wrap a curling iron or you know which direction to go or anything like that. You just clamp it in and go. But with that it is kind of hard to see where you need to stick it as you're going down the strand because you're supposed to stick it basically where the last wave ends. But it's kind of hard to see for me anyway it's hard to see where I left off. You may not have that problem.

Another pro is that you can literally just stick this in anywhere. Like if you have wavy or curly hair already stick it in a random spot and just kind of do it here and there just to kind of emphasize you know parts of your hair that maybe aren't as defined. But if you're doing your whole head it can take longer. So that's a con. It definitely took me longer than it does to wrap my hair with a normal curling iron. Which takes me like five to seven minutes.

Another con is that it doesn't give you the most smooth look. Obviously a beachy look isn't supposed to be super tamed and smooth and sleek. It's supposed to be big and tossled. But if you're someone that already has you know pretty unruly textured frizzy hair then it's just going to kind of emphasize that. Whereas with a curling iron you're actually going through, you're pulling it through and you're smoothing it out as you go. Overall I'm pretty impressed. My hair looks super big. It looks like I have way more hair than I do. It's voluminous. It has body and texture."
